nyquist software package provides language for music composition and sound synthesis, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nyquist
nyquist is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nyquist package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nyquist *
You will get with nyquist package name, version, architecture and description in a table
